They are widowers who have decided to live together as they share many common interests, and are perplexed by the changes that have occurred in their neighbor hood in the last two decades going from "a sleepy little hamlet" to the hipster heaven of Los Angeles.  "It went bad when the Priuses trickled in!",  according to Mr Alfred a former hairdresser whose wife Verlus became good friends with Maynard Guilde wife Doratheum when Mr Alfred started cutting Doratheum's hair. The old men are played by actors Chris Hogan and Michael Rivkin whose improv skills drive this dark, funny, sometimes poignant podcast about change, acceptance, and man buns.
