In 2016 Bee decided to pursue her dream of starting her own PR company, left the corporate world, and excitedly set out on this venture...and in her final week of her corporate job discovered she was pregnant. Whilst growing her daughter she set up and mobilised Liberty PR and spent the first years of both her baby's and her firm's infancy with said baby strapped to her. Bee and I chat about what this experience was really like for her, how her creative drive manifests, the challenges of working and parenting, the current climate in the music industry and what changes we would both like to see. Bee also set up Mamas Across Music Initiative (MAMI) in 2018, putting motherhood and working in music firmly on the agenda.
