Episode 6 – ISIS, Joan Rivers, and the NFL
In Episode 6, Ed goes off on the terrorist group known as ISIS and trash talks how the world is ignoring this growing menace. Sara brings up the unfortunate passing of comedian legend Joan Rivers. This week kicks off the 2014-2015 NFL season. Ed and Sara discuss how the NFL has updated their domestic violence guidelines but San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald never got the memo. Also, in local news, a double homicide/suicide took place. Ed and Sara weigh in on that story as well.

A video released by ISIS depicts the murder of American journalist Steven Sotloff. While the video may or may not appear to be fake, the United States has confirmed it as authentic. Judge for yourself. Watch the Steven Sotloff video.
Who is ISIS?
a Muslim jihadist group currently in the Middle East
they claim to have authority over all Muslims worldwide
want to create an Islamic State
desire to bring back old school "Islamic ways"
ISIS is a growing threat to people globally. Their beliefs deny women's rights. Everyone must convert to their twisted version of Islam. If not, there are 2 other choices: pay a heavy religious tax or face a gruesome death. Al Qaeda no longer has any association with ISIS. The ways of ISIS were too brutal for Al Qaeda. Too extreme for the extremists? Now that should be a key warning.
The problem has spread to Iraq. Watch the video of an Iraqi soldier's tale on how he escaped death at the hands of ISIS.
ISIS is not the only group sending warnings to the United States. A Mexican drug cartel created a video that makes the ISIS videos look like a Disney film. Watch the drug cartel video. Citizens of the world must be aware of and realize there are despicable people out there. These things can not be overlooked or dismissed.
On September 4, 2014, legendary comedian Joan Rivers died at the age of 81. She paved the way for women in showbiz. Joan Rivers will be missed.
With the new NFL season underway, 9 players won't be involved at the kickoff due to Personal Conduct Policy violations. Why do NFL players jeopardize their careers with absurdity? Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner, announced the new guidelines for domestic violence offenders. Three days later, Ray McDonald, of the San Francisco 49ers, was arrested for assaulting his pregnant girlfriend.
In Lets Trash Talk local news, a man shot and killed his wife. He walked down the block to his brother-in-law's house. He shot and killed him. Then the man returned to his home and shot himself dead. Turns out that everyone in this story were in their 80s. Does the age change your opinion of the crime?
