In this episode, we talk about our first marathon experiences and Whit recaps her day at the Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon on March 8, 2020. Niki and Amber discuss the heartfelt experience they had at their first Marathon at St. Jude Memphis in December 2019.
We touch on fueling for the marathon and mention all of the items that assisted us in getting to the finish line of 26.2- Huma gel, Honey Stinger waffles, Nuun hydration, and SiS gels were key.
Main source of motivation: our dear running friend, Ashley Chockley. We also cover how amazing it feels to have people there for you solely to support you and what it's like to spectate and cheer at a race, as opposed to running it.
