In this episode we interview Elise Matatall, the former Alumni Navigator for Warren Village, a local nonprofit serving low-income, single-parent families providing them with stable housing, early-childhood education and wraparound services. Elise helps us understand the affordable housing system and the challenges and barriers to navigating that system. She also sheds light on the unique challenge families face in finding housing, and how the lack of childcare impacts people trying to move out of poverty and into stability.
