Each week Pastor Byrnese (she/her) and Pastor Mikayla (she/her) will chat about what scripture(s) they are preaching on that week, as well as what in life is keeping them from writing their sermons in a timely fashion.

This week we discuss preaching both the Gospel Text (Mark 10:17-31) and the Second Reading (Hebrews 4:12-16), listed for the Twenty-first Sunday after Pentecost in Cycle B from the⁠⁠⁠ ⁠Revised Common Lectionary⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠. Throughout the episode we primarily look at the CEB translation, but also utilize the NRSVUE and NLT this week.
