Jared opened Refiner's Forge in Lexington VA in 2015 after serving 13 years in law enforcement. He jokes that he attended the Trade School of YouTube for most of his education in blacksmithing. Jared loves the hard work and creating one-of-a-kind functional pieces of art with his hands. He does this while juggling the duties of being a Husband and Dad to 5 boys!
