Today we discuss the 2001 Best Animated Feature winner, Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. While difficult to describe the plot of this film, all three of us can agree that this film certainly makes you think and feel something. With commentary on capitalist greed, the pollution problem in our world, and the idea of finding a stronger version of yourself within you to persevere, we believe that this movie transcends modern animation, and feels rather underrated.
