I Know What I Like

Episode 6 - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Part 1

Listen Later

The Nicks roll up their sleeves and start the process of deconstructing Genesis'  massive concept double album from 1974, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. Along the way they discuss their thoughts on concept albums in general, a curious hijacking, the birth of an iconic Canadian logo & Rush's first album. They then don their literary caps and try to parse what works, what doesn't and what it all means on the first disc of the Lamb.

Nathaniel Barlam's Illustrated The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway was a huge help, is a great video and makes up a significant component of our discussion
