COVID-19 has seen the Government spend hundreds of billions of pounds in order to protect primarily the health of older generations. In fact by March 2021, the total amount spent passed £400 billion. That’s the highest rate of government borrowing outside war time! In our final podcast episode we’re going to take a look back at a year of intergenerational injustice due to the pandemic. I’ll be taking you on a whistle-stop tour of key events since the first lockdown, discussing record breaking facts and figures, whilst also talking to young people and experts along the way.
