Today's guest is James Burgmann-Milner, who writes under JR Burgmann. He is an award-winning writer and doctoral candidate with the Monash Climate Change Communication Research Hub, where he also works as a Teaching and Research Associate. His doctoral research focuses on narrative forms of climate change communication. James' fiction and arts journalism have been published widely. His co-authored book Science Fiction and Climate Change: A Sociological Approach was shortlisted for both the British Science Fiction Association awards and the Locus awards. His debut novel Children of Tomorrow, which was highly commended in the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards this year, will be published by Upswell Publishing in early 2023.
