I was extremely nervous attending my first Catholic Mass. My stomach churned with anxiety all day and my mind was having all kinds of crazy images about what it would be like. All that standing, and kneeling and bowing??? And the hand signals and what to do during Communion all combined to wig me out.  But it wasn’t that weird at all!! In fact I actually enjoyed and didn’t have any negative experiences!
