Writer and performer Christopher Danowski is my guest this week! I confidently told him as prep that I try not to talk too much so that he should speak freely, then proceeded to talk for a full minute before asking him a single question! Oops!
But Chris still shared with me his thoughts on Theatre that challenges the audience, the double-edged sword of academic research, and why sometimes you should just say “fuck it” and do a sketch show.
Chris is heading overseas to teach soon, but before he goes you can purchase his new book Dogsear. through Hoot n’ Waddle Press. The release party is September 15 from 5-7 PM at The Hive on 16th St.
You can also see B3 Productions staging of Chris’ play Frogwomen opening November 10, more info at [thesicsense.com]
