Hello, darlings! This week, The Swearwolves sit down and talk about one of their favorite icons – horror or otherwise: Elvira (Cassandra Peterson).

From her time hosting Elvira’s Movie Macabre on the boob tube in the 80’s (and again from 2010-2011), to Halloween-themed commercials, and three pinball* machines (one of which is owned by two different Swearwolves), Peterson’s Elvira is an undeniable pop culture legend.

After some initial reminiscing about seeing Elvira on TV as kids and meeting Cassandra Peterson at shows over the years, Bret, David, and Alan get down to business and bust through her two films: 1988’s Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, and 2002’s Elvira’s Haunted Hills.
