Two Pepperdine student-athletes with truly rare stories are on the podcast this week, Kevin Hempy of men’s basketball (1:01) and Lauren Stigers of women’s swimming and diving (18:24). Hempy is both a basketball player and a first-year law student. Stigers both swims and dives for the Waves. In both cases, there are very few known instances of Division I student-athletes trying to do these two things at once.
