Hey friend!
On today's QuickTalk we're chatting about something that I've had to practice in real-time this past week: is it a bad moment or a bad day?
I was bit by my dog Peanut on Thursday, & while I could have let this experience ruin the whole day, I CHOSE not to. Instead, I felt all the feels WHILE finding time to smile & be thankful that Peanut & I are okay.
Yes, there are times in life where we're just going to have a really shitty day start to finish, but I have to ask -- does that have to be the case any time you're met with resistance or negativity?
For example, does that negative conversation with your boss have to taint the entire day, OR can you be pissed off, vent to a friend & then do something FUN?
There's always a reason to smile.
There's always a way to feel two opposing feelings simultaneously, but what it comes down to is are you letting those emotions dictate a bad moment or day?
Let me know your thoughts over on Instagram! So grateful for you!
