Are we living in a simulation? Perhaps, but why? That's the most important question. What's the purpose of the simulation, and what does it mean to be successful in the simulation? I explore Nic Bostrom's 2003 paper and build upon it to provide some connection to the two core beliefs: 1) we are happy, unlimited, free; 2) everyone and everything is connected.
