Professor Joshua A. Frieman from the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics describes entering the field of cosmology when it was still very small at the University of Chicago and marvels at what he and his fellow researchers have learned about the universe in the years since. After spending much of his career years in Fermi Lab, he is back at the University of Chicago as a professor to continue his teachings and research on dark energy.
