The Stone family is a tough nut to crack, and Sarah Jessica Parker's Meredith is hitting rock bottom in her attempts to break through in 2005's "The Family Stone," a Christmas movie that isn't as funny as the trailer wants you to think, but is all the better for it. This week, we queen out more on our favorite characters, because the performances are uniformly excellent, but special notice to Diane Keaton for giving possibly one of the most restrained performances of the latter part of her career. We swoon over Patrick, are charmed by Julie, appreciate Kelly, are grateful for Ben, and just don't trust Everett, no matter how beautiful Dermot Mulroney is. Also: does SJP get the credit she's due as an actress? And why do we keep forgetting about Susannah? But most importantly--BRAD. Oh, we just love Brad.
