In this week's Dental Handoff, Dr. Kelly Tanner welcomes in cardiologist Dr. Brett Sealove Part One of a special two part series!
Brett Sealove, MD, FACC, RPVI, CPE is an attending level physician who is double-boarded in Cardiology as well as Vascular Medicine. He is a Cardiologist/Partner at Monmouth Cardiology Associates and Chief of Cardiology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Dr. Sealove is currently the medical director of the non-invasive vascular lab at Monmouth Cardiology and is the former Medical Director/Chair of Wellness and Prevention at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and the former Associate Program Director for the Cardiology Fellowship.
His subspecialty within cardiology is in vascular medicine/imaging and preventative and clinical cardiology. Dr. Sealove's areas of interest also include cardiovascular imaging and preventive cardiology. He is board-certified in Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Vascular Imaging.
Dr. Sealove is a Core Associate Clinical Professor and Vice Chair of Cardiology at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
Dr. Kelly and Dr. Sealove share a discussion about the importance connection between cardiovascular health and dentistry, and why it's important for the two medical professions to often work in tandem with one another.
