As the Director of Vision and Values for The Black Rose Collective, which he co-founded, David continues to champion community empowerment and systemic change. He believes that love is the most potent tool for dismantling barriers and fostering healing. David aspires to support individuals to confront their traumas and reclaim their stories, embodying the resilience of the human spirit.

The Black Rose Collective is a group of dedicated community organizers and support specialists directed by and accountable to the community –Black, Brown, Indigenous, and people of the global majority who are incarcerated, impacted by gun violence, or who face ongoing barriers of the reintegration process after being legally liberated from the carceral system.
