A very famous song goes by, "Let's get physical, physical!" And it's possible that this might stir up some memories for you, perhaps of a special time, or a special someone. But have you ever stopped to think about the chemical reactions your body undergoes during these intense moments of pleasure and lust. Unlikely.

There are more than 40 neurotransmitters in the human nervous system; some of the most important are acetylcholine, norepinephrine, dopamine, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), glutamate, serotonin, and histamine. So today we try to better understand our chemical makeups and what happens when we feel a certain way, and why we can be, oh so very addicted, to these neurotransmitters.
