The CumQueens research Endometriosis and learn that this disease affects 1 in 10 women in the United States. Despite the commonality of this illness there is still little known about the causes. On average an American woman suffers for 10 years before receiving a medical diagnosis and sometimes the treatment can be worse than the disease. Unsurprisingly we learn that the medical community still has a ways to go in regards to women's health. We hope that talking about these issues will encourage others to trust their bodies and advocate for themselves.
