We were very excited to have Joey back on again to discuss what’s new in his world since he last joined us! The talented voice of the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit got a well-deserved call up to the AHL to fill in for one of the Grand Rapids Griffins play-by-play broadcasters. We discussed his first three games in the pros and how quickly he had to learn everything on the fly. He also gives his insight on the prospects that Red Wings fans should be excited about.

Before we had Joey on, we broke down the trades made by Stevie Y all the way up to the deadline. I know that crime has decreased in Detroit over the years, but Yzerman pulled off one of the biggest robberies I’ve seen all year with the deal that sent Mantha to DC, and in return we received Vrana, Panik, a 2021 1st rounder AND a 2022 2nd rounder... Well done, sir!
