Roger Firman is chair of UKAAF, the UK Association for Accessible Formats.

Until June of this year, when he retired, he ran his own company called Golden Chord, dedicated to providing a high-quality personalised transcription service for customers who require music, music-related and other materials in braille.

Roger is a life-long user of Braille and is passionate about its application in all areas of life.
