You never forget your first close encounter with wildlife — especially when it leaves a dent! This week we chat with John and Amy Van Artsdalen from Texas, who share an unforgettable Airstream adventure through Yellowstone National Park. What started as a peaceful day watching bison turned wild when one curious bull decided to head-butt the back of their Airstream — hard enough to puncture through to their mattress! They took it all in stride (and with a good laugh), proving that sometimes the best stories come from the most unexpected moments.

We also talk about another highlight from their travels and ours — witnessing the solar eclipse of 2017 in Jackson Hole WY — reminding us that the road always delivers a little wonder, whether it’s a shadow across the sun or a bison in your rearview mirror.
