On this week's episode of the podcast we sit down with Dr. Deborah Miscoll. Dr. Miscoll is a straight-talking, no-nonsense Texan, with a penchant to drop high -school football anecdotes. Dr. Miscoll serves as Deloitte US’ Chief Mental Health Officer and leads the firm’s Integrated Mental Health Service. In this role, she oversees an internal team of clinical and performance psychology experts- and guides the development and delivery of innovative, forward-thinking, highly-curated services and solutions. Each service line is designed to address the cognitive, emotional, and social complexities associated with the health and performance of over 170,000 U.S. partners and professionals.
While she cut her teeth in the fields of clinical, forensic, and neuropsychology, She has dedicated the past 20 years of her career advising organizations on how to address complex psychological issues that intersect the workplace, as well as designing modern psychological initiatives and evidenced-based solutions in a corporate environment. This experience drives her passion not only to support the individual but also organizational health and function.
While the above resume is beyond bad ass, what is even more bad ass is how she rose from the ashes in a true phoenix fashion to build an unbelievable life for herself and more importantly to her, her family.
