1. Who are the plot participants in the text?
2. What are the ‘hinge’ words/concepts in the text?
3. Why are they saying this rather than something else?
4. What did it mean to them/then? How does that translate to us/now?
5. What other texts shed light on this one?
6. How does the meaning of this text change my life today?
