On this episode, I had the pleasure of talking to Dr. Sanaz Vahid a periodontist with a vision for the field of dentistry. She along with her colleagues founded "women of the world of dentistry" (WOW dentistry). As she describes it, it is an all-inclusive organization aimed at educating and empowering every woman in the field of dentistry from the assistant to the dentist. I believe this organization is absolutely needed at this time in dentistry, especially since the ratio of women and men graduating from dental schools is even.
