Detective Mannina goes back to the hospital to speak with the victim in hopes of getting clarity about who shot him and why. After being up for 52 hours straight, she takes a four-hour nap and heads to the autopsy, followed by an interview with an unlikely woman who gives Mannina the right clues that may take her back to where she started to finally solve this case.
