Hiʻilani Shibata is an educator, mom and Mahina (or moon) practitioner. Born and raised in Hilo, she graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with a degree in Hawaiian Language. Today she is a culture trainer and consultant and co-founder of Ka Mahina Project where she teaches about how ancestral knowledge of the moon can help guide us in the present day.
In today’s episode, Hi'i talks about how to find your birth moon, what that means and her plans for bringing Hawaiians and Hawai'i people back home.
