Raise your hand if your first idea of true love came from Disney? For me it was Aladdin, I used to daydream all the time about my prince meeting me at a balcony, the only problem was that I was super afraid of heights. The whole notion of a woman being rescued was so normal in the 80s and 90s and that had a huge impact on the idea of love and what a soulmate was. So we venture into the world of movies, good movies, great movies, romantic movies, even a romantic comedy... and how these models of perfection have molded our personal sense of a soulmate.
