'Consent' can be a loaded topic of conversation, with many different perspectives weighing in on what it means and its level of importance. On one side of the extreme, 'consent' can be seen as irrelevant and un-sexy - reserved only for one night stands and hookup culture. On the other, it's considered supremely important and high stakes, and a necessary topic of conversation in all areas of life.
