Florida newspapers have reported the DOH Inspector General found the allegations from the creator of the DOH COVID-19 Dashboard that her bosses pressured her to falsify and hid pandemic data were either unsubstantiated or unfounded. One allegation did occur, but the IG determined no policy was violated and exonerated the DOH officials.The one voice missing in the reporting is that of the complainant, Rebekah Jones - that was until today.   Jones told me she wasn’t surprised by the IG findings, saying the report was leaked to the media before it was sent to her. She asserted that the investigators never spoke with her about the allegations in her complaint.  Read more.
