When we pray for protection, it must be realized that the prayer is for our higher spiritual selves and not so much for the physical. When we are in tune with the presence of God within, we know and experience freedom from fear, we know God’s peace, and we embrace God’s love. This state of being is a Christian’s place of refuge. This is our place of peace regardless of human circumstances.
