Heading up to Duluth, Minnesota this week with the best band to come out of the area. Since 1993, Low (led by Al Sparhawk) have been one of the most legendary indie rock acts that have had one of the most devoted cult followings ever. Not just in their hometown, but around the world as well. This week, we take a deep dive into the genre known as 'Slowcore' and discuss the eclectic discography that has garnered rave reviews over the years including back-to-back Year End Lists on Pitchfork for their albums "Double Negative" (2018) and "Hey What" (2021). While it may be cold up dere (eh?) where you are, the discussions I'm sure will heat up once this week's podcast is over.
