Episode 68. Theories on Protective Masks, Past Episodes and Standing Up For What's Right
A note from Nav Nanwa:
I shared some feelings at the beginning of this episode regarding everything going on in the world.
As someone who's lucky to have a platform like this, it was necessary for me to use it to address the problem we all face. I stand in solidarity with my brothers and sisters who continue to be victims of injustice and racism. We all need to stand in solidarity, support each other and become an ally for people of colour; it is the least we can do to find solutions.
It is inspiring to see so many people speak up in a peaceful and educated way across the world. As a parent, I have a responsibility to instil courage in my daughter to speak up against injustice and raise her to be a good human being.
If you have a platform, use it. Being silent, is a problem.
Speak up, educate, donate, talk, and feel. We all we got.

In preparation of our one year anniversary on Sauga 960 AM, we took a look back at some of our favourite discussions from the past year on NTR. Most of which are definitely relevant to what's been happening in the world lately.
Host Nav Nanwa talks Hip Hop's Evolution with rapper Shad K, the acknowledgement of hate with comedian Shawn Mujumdar, plus we re-visit a conversation around being told to 'go back to your country' with good friends Poonum Singh and Jessy Crown.
We are also joined by Nadir Chaudhry and April Hossain from Maskwell, which is company focused on building re-usable masks that feature high-efficiency replaceable filters to help keep you healthy during uncertain times. We talk about the importance of wearing mask during the pandemic and why it will the new normal moving forward.
