It's an eventful episode this week as we discuss the latest in the gaming world, and some of it is a bit of a doosey!  Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has requested his salary be reduced to the minimum legal salary in California. This is coming off their motion to delay and even drop the lawsuit against them, being denied by the court. Can we say PR stunt? We see you Bobby..... we see you.....  Crystal Dynamics caves at the backlash surrounding the XP boosts in The Avengers store and removes them after a month. They did state before the game's launch they wouldn't add anything outside of cosmetics to their store, and after throttling XP from a BS claim that players were being overwhelmed proved that statement a lie. Tisk Tisk...  Blizzcon 2022 has been canceled, and Blizzard states they want to "reimagine" the event. No.... this wouldn't have anything to do with the accusations revolving around the company, and the implosion of their leadership. Not at all. Speaking of, their Co-leader has stepped down and Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 have been delayed after losing their directors!  Microsoft and SEGA have teamed up to collaborate on a new cloud gaming project! After much speculation of an acquisition, this news comes as no surprise as much of the community predicted SEGA and Microsoft would be working together since the Bethesda acquisition.  These and more this week on the BLGP!
