In July 2025, China’s online world was shaken when secretly recorded videos of a man dressed as a woman engaging in sexual encounters with other men began to spread. This "Sister Hong" was a 38-year-old man who, despite not being particularly attractive, claimed to have met with over 1,600 men. The case quickly sparked a wave of memes, and the phrase “Well, since we’re already here...” became especially popular.
