Susie Salisbury lives in the home she dreamed of owning as a child. But the mixed income, Blue Ribbon School District of her dreams has turned into a nightmare. Susie Salisbury’s dream home is located beside one of these “dilapidated, unsafe structures” becoming so prevalent in our city. And in spite of being a former Charleston city council member, and having a current city councilman across the street, little action has been taken over the course of 3 years to enforce the city's dilapidated structure ordinances.
