When you pray, are your prayers deep enough? Are you praying for the proper resolution? Do your prayers fulfill on your assignment from God? The father in this scripture prayed for his son to be healed. The disciples were not able to accomplish a healing. That’s when Jesus was called in. 

Jesus asked the man if he believes that all things a possible through prayer. The father responded that he believed, but requested help with his unbelief.
With that acknowledgment by the father, Jesus provided the healing. Even though we may believe, if there isn’t a fullness within out hearts for truly believing, how can healing take place. Jesus opened a pathway of authenticity for this man to pave a pathway for the healing of his son. That’s is what happens when we pray for the right things.
