Ab Parcell is a Butch neurodivergent poet and academic from South Wales. Nowadays she resides in Manchester and is due to complete a PhD in Hybrid Autofiction at The University of Salford. She is the Writer in residency at the Portico Library in Manchester and is working to “challenge” the collection through the queering of the collection. She is just about to release her debut collection, 'Hold Your Metaphors Accountable.'
Her work explores themes of identity, place, trauma and testimony. Her experimental practice of “hybrid autofiction” shines through in her raw debut.
