In this episode, I am joined by special guests Dr. Caitlyn Tyus, PharmD and Dr. Kayla Dodson, PharmD to discuss the many acronyms surrounding multidrug resistance, including ESKAPE, SPACE/SPICE, MYSPACE, and HECKYes. We review the organisms and why they are clinically important, how these acronyms have changed over the years, and treatment recommendations. (Both Drs. Tyus and Dodson have now completed their PGY-1 Pharmacy residencies.)
