Hamiora Gibson is a native of Aotearoa (New Zealand). He is currently working with private land owners, resources development and others to implement ecosystem restoration programs that benefit native flora & fauna. New Zealand is also on a path of reconciliation from its colonial past, we discuss what this means on a landscape level and comparisons between there and Canada.
He was fortunate enough to grow up in the bush and is now sharing his knowledge by training locals on invasive species trapping and foraging/hunting techniques.
