I first met Clara at a polyamory conference in 2016. She had very recently been forbidden from entering Canada, where she had been working on building a home with her polycule. Her story touches on the privileges established couples enjoy in the polyamory scene, as well as the ways that government policies discriminate against non-monogamy and attempt to enforce a monogamous standard.
