In this episode, we sit down with Professor Peter Devine, a professor of economics at Boston College, to talk about defense and economic policy.
Professor Devine received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame before attending Duke University for his M.A. in economics. He also holds a PhD in economics from George Washington University. In between and during his education, Professor Devine has held many different roles; he was on active duty in the United States Navy as an F-18 pilot and worked as an instructor in economics at the US Naval Academy. Additionally, he has consulted for the World Bank and was a fellow on the White House National Economic Council. Professor Devine has taught at Boston College, Annapolis, Duke University, and the Kyiv School of Economics.
