We were gone for a couple of weeks because all of us are in shows! This week, we're back with our friends Kitten Marie and Cat Forgey! Kitten Marie is a STAR in the Tampa Bay Area, kittening and performing in lots of shows! She talks about her experiences as a stage kitten and funny things that have happened - she is an amazing performer and someone you won't want to miss seeing! Then, we chat with Cat Forgey, a full time Anthropology student at USF - Cat has been coming to local burlesque shows to study queerness in the St. Pete burlesque scene has resulted in three papers, with more work planned for the future. Her research has involved observation at shows and interviews with performers, and has led to fantastic new friendships and an interest in participating more directly herself.
