Today we discuss fret installation and neck contouring.  For fret installation, you will need several luthier-oriented tools.  You will need a fret scale template, which you can purchase here.  You will also need a fret hammer, fret cutter, and fret beveler. This is one of the more time consuming steps in building a bass guitar, but take your time!  The more time you take on this step, the better your instrument will feel and play in the long run.
