During this episode, I talk with Kari Gregory (she/her), LPC, LCPC, NCC about understand the nuance in diagnosing OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Phobia or something else. Grad school makes us think diagnosing anxiety disorders is clear and easy and that just isn’t true. 

Kari has a private practice in the Kansas City area specializing in the treatment of adults with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and related disorders. She has specialized training in the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD from the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute. Kari is an active member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) where she sits on the OCD Special Interest Group committee and was a previous awardee of the Alies Muskin Career Development Leadership Program. She is also active with the IOCDF and participates in ongoing consultation groups with Anxiety and OCD specialists nationwide.
