Jun Lopito is hailed as one of the best guitarists in the Philippines.  The son of a popular Filipino comedian, he started as a folk singer in the mid-70’s.  He eventually joined Pepe Smith’s solo band, The Airwaves as well as being the original lead guitarist of the Queen of Filipino ‘Pinoy’ Rock, Sampaguita. He was also the lead guitarist of Coco Jam in the 1990's.  We discuss his origins, his Buddhist beliefs, his guitars and his third and brand new album called Jun Lopito & The Bodhisattvas: BODHI3NMRK.  ENJOY!
